People don’t stumble over mountains, but do over small hurdles according to old Chinese folklore.  Indeed, at times western companies are so wrapped up in the ‘bigger picture’ that they tend to loose the day-to-day goings-on out of sight.

Undertaking business activities in China also means: directing a pro-active approach to anticipations, wishes and desires; understanding what lives beneath the surface; keeping alert to climate changes in politics and economy; making correct interpretations of seemingly small issues.  These experiences all need to be part and parcel of an effective communication strategy to target audiences.
